Why a new liquid 3D printer is more powerful than your average plastic 3D print

It’s no secret that most of us have been using a plastic 3d printer for years.

But the new Liquid 3D Printer from 3D Systems is designed to be much more powerful and, if used correctly, can be used to make objects with a 3D printing depth.

Liquid 3d Printer (lodar 3d printers) use a molten metal to create a 3d object.

When molten metal is heated, it creates a layer of a thin liquid that then boils off in a process known as extrusion.
